Timber Ridge opened its doors in 1990. Located in east Cobb County, Timber Ridge is nestled in a residential area near Highway 120 and the Chattahoochee River. The average enrollment is 525 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. High expectations exist for achievement and conduct. Timber Ridge was named a Georgia School of Excellence in Student Achievement in 2008. The school’s climate well represents its motto of Learning, Caring and Sharing.

Timber Ridge Foundation
Founded in 2005, the Timber Ridge Foundation is dedicated to providing resources to enhance the school’s ability to create a rich educational experience for all students. The Foundation supports Timber Ridge in the following areas:

Timber Ridge PTA
The PTA provides many opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s education. The Timber Ridge PTA earned the distinction of Parent Involvement School of Excellence in 2008. The PTA supports the following areas:
