Cobb Virtual Library [CVL]

Cobb Virtual Library! These resources are paid for by the

Timber Ridge Media Center and may be used at school as well

as at home. When using the Cobb Virtual Library of reference

databases at home, both a login and password are required.

Due to licensing restrictions, the Password List may be

accessed ONLY from the Cobb County School District network.

The password is available in the MEDIA CENTER or it may be

found in the monthly editions of the Timber Ridge Times.

 Students can also access Galileo (Georgia's Virtual Library)

with an additional password through CVL .

CVL Elementary, a great reference database provided

for you through CCSD, paid for by Cobb County taxpayers.

two general encyclopedias,plus special encyclopedias

on science and geography.  Also includes a dictionary,

atlas, and current news headlines and articles.

 An easy-to-use multimedia database

with 3 easy-to-use sites designed for emerging readers,

including Animals, Earth & Space, and Biographies.

  Magazines, newspapers, plus TV and radio transcripts,

plus books and images.
