Timber Ridge began a new tradition in 2005 with the inauguration of its Library Legacy program. The tradition continues this year and you are invited to participate. You can establish a Library Legacy for your child by adding a much-needed book to our library in honor of his/her birthday, academic achievement, or any other special occasion. Participation in this program will be noted by a special announcement over the intercom and the opportunity for students to introduce their donations to classmates. You can be assured that the books selected for thisprogram are critically reviewed and chosen to enhance the Media Center's collection and your child's education.
How can you participate??
For a $20 donation, an age-appropriate book will be selected by your child from new books purchased specifically for this program to build and update our current collection. The book will continue the ongoing development of our Media Center to support our classroom curriculums.
Last year, 64 new titles were added as Library Legacies. You can build a great legacy for your child by adding to this collection each year that your child attends Timber Ridge.
