Hi Parents,
The students had a great week this week. In Reading/Language Arts, we reviewed letter sounds, blends, digraphs, nouns, capitalization, punctuation, main idea, and supporting details. We also engaged in lots of writing. I am happy to say that I am seeing great improvements in the students’ writing. They are becoming more comfortable with the process and yielding better results. Some students are even requesting specific graphic organizers to help with the organization of their thoughts! I am trying to get the students to think critically about what they read and write. “It’s all about the details,” I say. They are apparently listening and applying what they have learned! In math, we are continuing to interpret data on graphs, tell time, and learn the measurements of time. We are having so much fun with learning!
