This week in Language Arts, the students shared the stories that they created with their peers. On last week, the students began writing the stories. They looked at a picture of a mouse chase (on our Smart Board) and created stories based on their interpretation of the picture. The students used their imaginations and had a wonderful time presenting in front of the class. After each student presented, their peers told them one thing they enjoyed about their story. The students were very proud! We also reviewed singular and plural nouns (with –s and –es). In our math class, we reviewed basic addition and addition with regrouping. Once the students master addition, we will begin subtraction with regrouping. The students are also doing a great job of making fair trades with coins.
