We have just finished reading The Whipping Boy, by Sid Fleischman.  If your student hasn't told you about the book, ask them to tell you about the story.  We had a great time reading it together. 

Please continue to have your child read their books for their Read Response Journals.  They are required (by Cobb County) to read 25 books in fifth grade. 

It's been wonderful seeing everyone at conferences.
