I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday with your families! Now we are all rested and ready to begin the second half of our school year!
We are starting the new year with a bang! Our class has won the Golden Plate Award for good behavior in the cafeteria. We will celebrate by having Pajama Day on Friday, January 20th. Children may also bring a stuffed animal as long as it's small enough to fit in their bookbag. Please be sure your child still wears tennis shoes that day since we will be going to PE.
Our upcoming topics are: Winter, Nutrition, Presidents & Monuments, Valentine's Day and Rocks & Soil. We are also looking forward to celebrating our 100th Day of Kindergarten on January 27th!
Please be sure that all coats, hats, etc are labeled with your child's name.
Another quick reminder: Our class goes to the Media Center every Wednesday. Please help your child remember to return his/her book in order to be able to check out a new one.
