In order to help our second graders practice the spelling words we work on through our Words Their Way program, we have created an account on
From the main page click on the red ‘Students’ tab at the top. Scroll down and click on ‘Find your list.’ In the Enter Search Term box, type ‘timber2.’ In the results box, click on Timber2Ridge to access our second grade account. All the words are listed by the weekly sorts. We will let you know which sort to work on through the Friday letter and/or your child’s planner on Friday. Then the children can choose whether to Teach, Test, or Play Games. There are many fun activities to help the children practice the spelling patterns covered in Words Their Way. This letter will be available on my blog by clicking on the Spelling City link on the left hand side of the page.
